Blue Ocean Lodge

Blue Ocean Lodge is a studio apartment at street level in Bakoven, the sheltered cove at the southern end of Camps Bay. One open room holds the sleeping area, lounge and kitchenette, with a courtyard leading off the living space. It sleeps two, and suits couples or solo travellers staying anything from a few nights to a month.

A king bed anchors one end of the room, and the separate bathroom has a shower. The kitchenette has a two-plate gas stove, a fridge freezer, a kettle, a toaster and a Nespresso machine. There is no oven, so it is set up for simple meals rather than full cooking.

For longer stays there is a dedicated workspace and uncapped 50Mbps fibre, with inverter backup keeping the lights and internet on during power cuts. Air conditioning handles both heating and cooling.

Bakoven Beach and its granite swimming coves are a short walk away, and the restaurants and beachfront of the Camps Bay strip are just up the road.
