Camps Bay is small, but the choice of where to stay is not. The strip, the beach and the sunsets are the same for everyone. What changes is whether you wake up to a sea view or a garden, whether you have a pool of your own, and how many people are sharing the kitchen.
The Bliss Collection looks after 18 villas and apartments across Camps Bay and Bakoven. This guide sorts them by who is travelling and what you want from the trip, so you can shortlist quickly and then check dates.

Couples and solo travellers
For two people, you do not need a big house. You need a comfortable bed, a decent kitchenette and a short walk to the beach.
Vive Suite is a one-bedroom apartment with views of the Twelve Apostles. Vive Lodge is a similar size with a garden outlook and a half bathroom on top of the main one. Satori Suite and Satori Lodge are one-bedroom hideaways, each with a private patio.
The two Blue Ocean one-bedrooms, the Suite and the Lodge, sit at the quiet Bakoven end of Camps Bay. They have no sea view and are not bright apartments. What you get is a calm, cool base close to the beach, on the ground floor with no stairs inside. Both are wheelchair friendly.

Honeymoons and special trips for two
If it is a proper occasion, the Sapphire Tide Penthouse is the one to look at. It is a two-bedroom penthouse above Bakoven Beach, with a private pool and views towards Lion’s Head. It sleeps four, so you have room to spare, but it works just as well for a couple who want a place that feels like theirs.

Small groups and two couples
Solstice is an oceanfront two-bedroom apartment, and it is as close to the water as Camps Bay gets. It sleeps four, which makes it a good fit for two couples or a small family who care more about the setting than the square metres.
Families and groups of up to six
Six is where the choice opens up, and it comes down to what matters most.
- For views: Boulder Views has uninterrupted Atlantic outlooks. Satori Two and Lillamton both have sea and mountain views.
- For a private pool: Sea and Stone Villa is a hillside villa with three ensuite bedrooms. Luméa is a three-bedroom holiday home near the beach.
- For winter evenings: Satori One has a wood-burning fireplace, which is worth a lot between June and August.

Bigger families and multi-family holidays
For eight, the choices are Vive One, Vive Two and the Blue Ocean Residence. Each has four bedrooms, and the Vive apartments are ensuite throughout.
Vive Two has panoramic sea and mountain views. Vive One is the easy choice for two families sharing, because every bedroom has its own bathroom. The Blue Ocean Residence adds a private pool, a gas braai and a sea-facing main bedroom with a balcony. It has stairs throughout and an unfenced, unheated pool, so check that suits your group, especially with small children.

Large groups, up to ten
The Blue Ocean Penthouse is the biggest home we have. It has five ensuite bedrooms, sea views, a private pool on the top level and parking for four cars. It suits milestone birthdays, family reunions and group trips where everyone wants their own bathroom. There is no lift, and the layout runs over several floors.
If you are planning a celebration rather than a quiet week, read what we allow in terms of gatherings and events first.

Choosing between Camps Bay and Bakoven
Most of the collection is in Camps Bay itself, a short walk from the beach, the restaurants on the strip and the sundowner spots. Sapphire Tide and Blue Ocean sit towards Bakoven, at the quieter southern end. Bakoven Beach is on your doorstep, and the Camps Bay strip is a few minutes away.
If you want to walk to dinner every night, stay closer to the strip. If you want mornings with fewer people around, stay at the Bakoven end. Either way you are within a few minutes of everything worth seeing in the area, and you can leave the car parked for most of the trip.
